Meet Our Founder
Linkage Partnerships was founded by Beverley Okoye after more than two decades at the forefront of advancing the UK Government’s business and trade agenda across the UK, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Her career has been defined by working at the intersection of policy, commerce, and culture supporting organisations to expand internationally, navigate complex markets, and build meaningful, lasting relationships.
With diplomatic postings in Nigeria and Ghana, Beverley played a pivotal role in supporting UK companies to successfully enter and grow within African markets. Her work extended beyond strategy into execution, building trusted relationships across
government, private sector, youth and community organisations, and traditional leadership structures.
Her Accomplishments
During this time, she:
- Supported global brands including Jaguar Land Rover and TM LewIN in expanding into Nigeria
- Secured and delivered the first UK–Nigeria Afrobeats Educational Roadshow in Lagos, focused on monetising intellectual property
- Led the delivery of over £500,000 in funding to build science and technology
coalitions across government, private sector, and multilateral institutions
- Developed and delivered the first UK–Ghana sustainable fashion and business showcase to deepen engagement in the climate agenda
Across each of these initiatives, one principle remained constant: growth is driven by trust, cultural intelligence, and the strength of the right partnerships.
